"Gossip Girl" Blake Lively took a trip Down Under to visit beau Leonardo DiCaprio while he films "The Great Gatsby" in Sydney according to The Herald Sun. DiCaprio, along with his co-stars Tobey Maguire and Carey Mulligan, will be based in Sydney for the duration of the film's shoot. The Academy Award nominee began working on his title role of Jay Gatsby in Baz Luhrmann's film adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic tale.

The secretive pair was first rumored to be a couple in May as DiCaprio and Lively get cozy on the French Riviera during the Cannes Film Festival and they then extended their European sojourn for a dreamy vacation in Italy. DiCaprio and the ever-fashionable Blake Lively continued their romance as they spend more time together in New York and they were pictured riding bikes together.

Lively was forced to celebrate her birthday alone. However, DiCaprio arranged a post-birthday celebration for her at Aria, a Sydney hotspot. Blake Lively flew in to Sydney and had apparently kept her stay short and sweet. Leonardo and Blake also enjoyed spending time in the afternoon at the zoo.

The Hollywood couple was spotted at Featherdale Wildlife Park in Doonside where a staff arranged a VIP visit for the lovebirds. "They were both so nice and down to earth. There was certainly no diva behavior. Leo was asking about the endangered animals," the park's marketing manager Kellie Ames told the Herald Sun.

It was also reported that the couple loved the koalas, the wombats and the staff of the Wildlife Park even brought out baby saltwater crocs for the couple to see. "Blake was absolutely beautiful," Ames added about the lovely "Gossip Girl" star. She was dressed in jeans, a floral top and camel colored fedora for the zoo visit. Australia will definitely get more visits from the blonde beauty after having a fun and memorable bonding moment with her beau during his stay while filming his latest movie.
