If you see Leonardo DiCaprio in plain clothes, it would seem he does not fit the ideal of a Hollywood stylish actor. In fact, when he was standing beside Richard Wilkins on The Star last week, it was Wilkins who somehow epitomized the perfect celebrity look.

DiCaprio was wearing very simple attire in navy jacket and cotton shirt topped off with a pair of casual shoes and no make-up at all. But his star power radiated when he started talking. His geekiness is his top secret appeal in getting those very hot female personalities in Hollywood.

DiCaprio, reputed to be the highest paid actor in the world at present, has been spotted in Sydney since the last week of August. He reunited with Australian director Baz Luhrmann, who directed him in "Romeo and Juliet" in 1996. The Aussie director has set the in-demand actor to work for the lead role of "The Great Gatsby."

This former child actor with a very youthful outlook in life is staying in his Sydney home up to Christmas. Even at 36, his looks is still regarded as a boy when compared to other actors his era who is also looking down at the barrel of reaching 40.

Since the time he has arrived, he has played the cat and mouse game with the Sydney press and has always disguised himself under a baseball cap. He also brought with him some body doubles who work for him as decoys.

His Aussie home is reported to have five bedrooms with a private pool, a private jetty and a super luxurious cruiser. But after much discovery, he also decided to go for a complimentary suite in The Star. His stay includes the service of a butler, his own driver, the limo and also anytime access to a luxury jet.

He has been enjoying the company of his co-star Tobey Maguire. DiCaprio has also been spotted hanging out in the Beach Haus and working out in the gym of the Hyde Park Club. He also seemed to enjoy bike rides in Centennial Park.
