Followers of former Glee star Charice Pempengco are no longer talking about her public admission of being a lesbian, but her Friday night duet with fellow lesbian Aiza Seguerra.

Charice described the duet as a dream-come-true for her since she looks up to Aiza not only as a singer but as inspiration for people like her with different sexuality.

The duet happened at the Tambayan (Hangout) Hits concert of Aiza and Noel Cabangon in Makati where the lesbian pair sang the acoustic version of David Guetta's hit song Titanium.

Twitter was abuzz with good comments about the duet.

Edrian said he really felt the emotions, while Shirley Parabia tweeted, "Loved seeing and hearing Aiza and Charice sing together in an acoustic duet of 'Titanium!'"

Guia noted the two singers both have amazing voices, while CeeJay Baguio described the due as a riot. Jomar Yap said the duet is truly epic.

Charice said that Titanium is one of her favourite songs and she expressed gratitude to Aiza for inviting her to do a duet. She recalled that before she became famous, she joined a videoke singing contest in which the song she was required to sing was Aiza's biggest hit, Pagdating ng Panahon (When the Right Time Comes).

"I won," recalled Charice, to which Aiza said she hopes it is not the last time they would make beautiful music together. Both singers said they are open to more musical collaboration between them such as a back-to-back concert.

"That will be an epic concert if that ever happens ... Why not?" Charice said, quoted by Pep.ph.

Because of the lesbian power shown by Charice and Aiza, there are naughty suggestions that ABS-CBN, the mother studio of Charice, cast them in a lesbian soap opera to match the gay soap opera of rival station GMA 7, My Husband's Lover.

My Husband's Lover topped the ratings game and trounced its rival show, Apoy sa Dagat (Fire on the Ocean), leading to rumours that ABS-CBN wants to match the bekiserye of GMA with a T-birdserye.

However, casting two butch lesbians might work in a concert, but not likely in a soap opera because it might not appear realistic since butch lesbians often have lipstick lesbians or feminine-looking lesbians as their girlfriends, similar to the real-life situation of Charice and Alyssa Quijano and Aiza Seguerra and Krizza Neri.

Such a combination may work in the box-office like what happened when 1980s Filipino stars Nora Aunor and Vilma Santos starred in a movie titled T-Bird at Ako.

That era also saw two other movies about same-sex relationships that hit it in the tills. These are Bubbles Ativan Gang and Si Malakas, si Maganda at si Mahinhin (The Macho, the Beauty and the Ladylike).
