Users of LG G Flex are getting 4K video recording support along with the latest features of Android 4.4 update. A tipster leaked the information regarding a 6-inch device with 2,160p video that pointed to the award-winning LG G Flex.

4K Video on LG G Flex

A tipster from PhoneArena revealed that the LG G Flex will get 4K video recording on the upcoming official Android 4.4 KitKat update. It was then backed up with a screenshot of a User Agent profile revealing a 6-inch Android smartphone that offers 2,160p video resolution.

The 4K video support seen on the leaked screenshot goes at the top level of the log along with 1,080p at 60 fps and 1,080p at 30 fps in addition to 720p and QVGA resolutions.

Recently, 4K video support that can be enabled on the LG G2 using a modification from an XDA developer forum, revealing the camera hardware capabilities of LG G2, was reported.

In addition to 4K video mod on the G2, the report also showed that the mod enables the device to record videos at slow motion speed of 120 fps similar to what Galaxy S5 and Xperia Z2 can. Other improvements of mod includes the following:

1. HDR video mode

2. 720p at 60 fps

3. 1600 ISO option

4. Low-light photography

5. Normal, Night and Intelligent Auto modes.

Unfortunately, the Android 4.4 KitKat update for the LG G Flex will only support 4K video recording, not the slow motion video 120 fps feature. Android 4.4 KitKat update for the LG G Flex isn't schedule yet at this time.
