On June 3, 2013, LG Electronics Australia announced that the highly successful Optimus L Series is getting both a specification update and further enhance the smartphone's range with new style and appeal. Optimus L2 II, L3 II, L5 II, L7 II and L9 II will be made available to a wider range of local operators and retail partners.

The refreshed collection of the Optimus L Series II comprised by new edition L2, L3, L5, L7 and L9 will be made available through a range of local operators, open distribution channels and retailer partners in the coming months.

Optimus L Series II Full Throttle in Australia

Some of the models are now available in Australia such as L3 II under Telstra, L7 II in Optus by June while other models are scheduled to enter the market by 3rd quarter and 4th quarter of 2013.

Optimus L Series sold more than 10 million units in the first 10 months of release globally and Australia is going to have a new series of well-featured and distinctively designed handsets from LG.
