Liam Hemsworth Says Jennifer Lawrence's Breath Smelled Of Tuna And Garlic When He Kissed Her
Liam Hemsworth and Jennifer Lawrence showcase smoking hot chemistry in the various sequels of "The Hunger Games" movie but off screen the two actors have a different story to tell. In a recent interview, the Australian actor revealed that he was "pretty uncomfortable" kissing his on screen partner Jennifer during the shoot.
Lawrence and Hemsworth are friends in real life to the extent that the Aussie hunk calls the "Silver Lining Playbook" actress his "best friend." However, when it comes to getting romantic on screen, the pair are no where even close. "She's one of my best friends, I love her. But if we had a kissing scene she would make a point of eating garlic or tuna fish or something that was disgusting," revealed Hemsworth during a recent appearance on "The Tonight Show," according to Inquisitor.com.
"And right before the scene she'd be like, 'Yeah, I had tuna, I had garlic, and I didn't brush my teeth.' Fantastic, I can't wait to get in there and taste it," added Hemsworth. In his previous interviews, the actor also credited the "American Hustle" actress for helping him stay focused and happy during his last year's split with singer Miley Cyrus. Liam and Miley dated each other for a couple of years and they were engaged and were planning to get married. However, the couple broke up in 2013 and it is during this difficult time J Law helped Liam overcome the post break-up trauma.
Meanwhile, Jennifer has also called Hemsworth and her another costar Josh Hutcherson her "angels" and kittens" in one of her previous interviews with Us Weekly. The 24-year-old actress, who is rumoured to be seeing Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, revealed to the website that they are all very good friends with each other. Their bond is so strong that she finds it hard to act with them in the movie as it requires them to be someone else and put on a "serious face." The actress also revealed that she, Josh and Liam can never watch their movie together as they will end up laughing.
"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1" opens in theaters on Nov. 21.
