Liam Neeson is still grieving over his wife, Natasha Richardson. In fact, he's having a hard time accepting that she's dead. The "Taken" star can still remember the day he decided to turn off her life-support machines vividly.

In an interview with Loaded Magazine, Liam Neeson shared that five years is not enough to make him grieve less over his wife. He shared that his wife's death still has not sunk in all these time. Natasha Richardson got into a very tragic and fatal ski accident, which required her to be put into tubes. However, Liam decided to put her off life support as this was Natasha's wish herself, Radar Online reports.

Even though he was very conscious of the decision he made, he said he still has not felt her death was real. Liam said that because he still has not come into terms with the fact, he still expects his wife to materialize in front of him whenever he hears the door at his house opening.

Of course, Liam said he knows his wife is not coming back. He made the decision to pull the plug.

"I went in to her and I just told her I loved her. I said, 'Sweetie, you're not coming back from this.' She and I had made a pact. If any of us got into a vegetative state we'd pull the plug. So when I saw her and saw all these tubes and stuff that was my immediate thought, 'OK, these tubes have to go. She's gone,'" shared Liam.

Liam Neeson is already dating though. He is said to be with Freya St. Johnson. He shared that these sad moments associated with remembering his late wife come and go. Perhaps the memories were triggered even more when his nephew was taken to the hospital early this summer with a head injury. The good thing is that he does not let these sad thoughts creep up on him during work. His professionalism allowed him to make it into Forbes's top 10 list of the highest paid actors of 2014, as reported by Belfash Telegraph UK.
