Lil Wayne has been recently making waves. From being rumored to be father of Nicki's Minaj's alleged love child to a near-death experience. Let's take a look at the singer's most shocking moments.

In February 2013, Wayne created a stir by making an offensive call to Emmet Till in his verse of "Karate Chop."

In the same month, Weezy was banned from attending the NBA games as he had allegedly slept with one of the player's wife. According to Hollywoodlife.com, "Weezy had claimed that he had slept with Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh's wife, Adrienne Williams-Bosh, which had led to his ban from NBA games."

On May 15, Wayne was hospitalized after suffering from multiple seizures. Reportedly, his life was at risk and in critical condition that his mother flew to Los Angeles to be at his side. Later, his condition worsened and doctors wanted to keep him on life support.

His fans were in shock to see their favorite rapper in such a grim condition and it was expected that the world would be losing a talented rapper at such a young age. Later when Weezy came out alive, numerous death hoaxes went rampant online.

In the past 31 years, Wayne has been a victim of more than five to six death hoaxes. HollywoodLife.com reported a video posted to Facebook on Jan. 7 launched another Wayne death hoax. According to media reports, a Facebook post saying "R.I.P- Rapper Lil Wayne Found Dead!" went viral on social media sites leading to his Dec. 27 death hoax. Nicki had nothing to do with those.

On May 19, Weezy got a lap dance from his fellow rapper Nicki Minaj at the Billboard Music Awards. Her dance was no less than racy live action and it generated a lot of controversy regarding Nicki's relationship with Wayne.

The latest rumor about the rapper surfaced on Jan. 7, which called him father to Nicki's alleged child (speculated Minaj is pregnant with Wayne's child).
