Lil Wayne is on the prowl again, after serving eight months in prison. Wayne was in his Welcome Home Tunechi party in Miami, Florida over the weekend, following his release Thursday (November 4) last week in the United States.

Lil Wayne told MTV News that he had forgotten about "yesterday" when asked to comment about his experience in prison. He also thanked fans and his family, saying that he could not have made it without them.

Wayne appeared publicly since after his release. The day after he attended a New Orleans Hornets/Miami Heat game in his hometown of New Orleans. On Saturday, the rapper appeared on stage with Drake on Saturday during the latter's concert in Las Vegas for his Light Dreams and Nightmares tour.

The rapper was in prison for criminal possession of weapon and marijuana.
