Lil Wayne Is Still Alive And Doing Well

Lil Wayne has been inflicted with the curse of death hoaxes for many years. Unfortunately, the 31-year-old rapper's death rumors surface time and time again as a result of his history of epileptic seizures.

On Dec. 15, fake death reports of Wayne circulated after a 'R.I.P. Lil Wayne' Facebook page received approximately one million of 'likes'. A convincing description of Wayne's death was given on the 'About' page:

"At about 11 a.m. ET on Sunday (December 15, 2013), our beloved rapper Lil Wayne passed away. Lil Wayne was born on September 27, 1982 in New Orleans. He will be missed but not forgotten. Please show your sympathy and condolences by commenting on and liking this page."

Instantly fans around the globe swarmed to post their messages of concern and condolence on the Facebook page. Click here to watch the facebook death hoax video titled "R.I.P - RAPPER LIL WAYNE FOUND DEAD!" presently making rounds on social media.

On March 28, 2013, Lil Wayne opened up about his near-death experiences in an interview with Los Angeles hip-hop radio station Power: "The bad news is I'm an epileptic, I'm prone to seizures," "Like, this isn't my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh seizure. I've had a bunch of seizures, y'all just never hear about them. ... Basically, I could've died, so that is why it was so serious. But the reason being for the seizures is just plain stress, no rest, overworking myself."

The bizarre rumor is also fuelled by Global Associated New's report titled "Musician - Lil Wayne dies following Jet-Ski crash in Turks and Caicos Islands," reads: "Musician Lil Wayne died while on a personal vacation in Turks and Caicos early this morning from injuries sustained in a Jet-Ski accident - December 17, 2013. Preliminary reports from Turks and Caicos Police officials indicate that the musician struck a concrete boat slip in a marina on Parrot Cay in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Lil Wayne was the only passenger on the personal watercraft at the time of the incident. Specific details are not yet available."

The 30-year-old rapper whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. has suffered some scary epileptic seizures over the last few months.

"No warning, no nothing, I don't feel sick. I get headaches real bad. And the headaches? I didn't get no headaches or nothing," "I go to sleep and wake up in the hospital. I don't feel anything. I just hope it stops happening." Revealed, Lil Wayne about his ongoing struggle with epilepsy in an interview with MTV's RapFix Live.

On Dec. 16, Wayne's representatives officially confirmed that Lil Wayne is alive "He joins the long list of celebrities who have been victimized by this hoax. He's still alive and well, stop believing what you see on the Internet," they said.
