Lindsay Lohan is back working and her return starts with the 'Glee' club.

In an interview with People Magazine, Lohan's representative, Steve Honig, said that the young controversial actress is confirmed to guest star in the Fox show.

What is not confirmed yet is the role Lohan will play. There are spreading rumours that the actress may appear as one of the celebrity judges during the Nationals competition that Glee club will join. Other upcoming guest stars of the show for its third season include Matt Bomer, Gloria Estefan and even Whoopi Goldberg.

This television stint isn't the first and most recent since her release from her community service deed. She made a hosting gig for 'Saturday Night Live' where she made fun out of her own real life criminal records as part of her introductory monologue.

But can these kinds of jokes be allowed by Lilo to happen in the musical show which once owed her an apology last 2010 due to one line in an episode delivered by another guest star, Gwyneth Paltrow. Paltrow played a Spanish teacher role and said several dialogues like:

"Lindsay [sic] Lohan is totally crazy, right?"

"How many times has Lindsay Lohan been to rehab?"

It was Lilo's mother and manager who demanded an apology for her daughter and was easily accepted. But another episode offended Lilo's mother again in the show's 2011 Super Bowl feature.

Can Lilo's guest appearance in 'Glee' finally put an end to all the conflicts between the two parties?
