Dawn Holland, the staffer at the Betty Ford Center Lindsay Lohan allegedly subjected to criminal battery, was fired after she spoke to entertainment outlet TMZ. Her actions was construed by the rehab facility as violation of confidentiality.

Holland reasoned that if the Hollywood actress had the right to issue statement calling for her termination, she also has the right to defend herself. The female staffer said that Lindsay was violent and had been drinking at the time of the incident.

Dawn Holland told TMZ that "Lindsay and company jumped a wall, trying to get inside the place she was staying without being noticed" and that "security stopped the three women, and that's when Lindsay became belligerent and started swearing up a storm."

Lindsay is now facing possible jail time for criminal battery, for which Holland wants the actress prosecuted. Lohan allegedly subjected the staffer to what was described as a "hand-to-hand battery," causing the hands of the latter to be broken during the heated exchange.

TMZ previously reported that the Palm Desert Police Department is investigating an altercation between a female staffer, since identified as Holland, and Lohan after the latter and her friends went to a bar and came back 12 minutes past her curfew at the Betty Ford Center, last December 12.

The Hollywood actress claimed that when she came back to the Center, she was "unfairly" scolded by a female staffer about arriving past her curfew. Reports say that Holland demanded that Lindsay take a drug-alcohol test using a breathe analyzer and that the woman placed her hands on the actress during the altercation. Lohan apparently refused to take the test.

Lindsay claimed that she told the staffer to take her hands off her but she allegedly pushed her back. Police received a 911 call from Lohan using the in-house phone, at 1:03 AM that day, for "hand-to-hand battery." Authorities then interviewed the staffer and Lohan.

Lohan is at the Betty Ford Center, a drug and alcohol treatment facility in California for rehabilitation as part of her sentence. She will remain at the facility until January 3rd next year.
