It's a welcome change on the part of Lindsay Lohan as she admitted---instead of, usually making excuses for her behaviour--- that she did not pass the court-added drug test, just a few weeks after her released from prison and having underwent a rehabilitation program.

"Regrettably, I did in fact fail my most recent drug test," Lindsay Logan said on her Twitter account.

Friends of the actress say this admission is sign of progress for Lohan because Lindsay is finally recognizing that she has a problem. The Hollywood actress posted a series of tweets on her Twitter page, confirming reports that she had been using drugs.

"Lindsay's close pals say she is "beating herself up over this" -- this being two failed drug tests, including one for cocaine," reported TMZ.

But Lindsay is apparently not just beating herself up over the matter. Lohan is taking steps, too. She wrote on Twitter that she is working hard to overcome substance abuse, and taking positive steps forward everyday.

"Substance abuse is a disease, which unfortunately doesn't go away over night. I am working hard to overcome it and am taking positive steps forward every day. I am testing every single day and doing what I must do to prevent any mishaps in the future."

Indeed, Lindsay Lohan is reported to be attending AA Meeting in an effort to fight her alcoholism. TMZ reported that the actress has been spotted leaving an AA Meeting in Hollywood.
