Just when she said that she wants her career back on tracks, it looks like Lindsay Lohan and trouble are both inseparable. Lohan was arrested on Thursday morning in New York City after allegedly punching a woman in the face.

Lindsay Lohan is in some kind of trouble once again and that is to be expected. New York City Police Department said that the 26-year-old actress was involved in a cat fight at a New York lounge. Lindsay was taken into custody and charged with third-degree assault after punching a woman in the face.

LiLo had a heated argument with a woman at Avenue in the Chelsea neighborhood in Manhattan. Although the victim didn't need any medical attention, the "Liz and Dick" actress was still held at the 10th precinct in NYPD.

It was reported that the star was a regular guest at the club but was banned earlier this year after an incident wherein she tweeted about Justin Timberlake. New details emerge about what might have caused the argument and drama that is behind Lindsay Lohan's recent arrest.

According to sources from TMZ, Lindsay and the unidentified woman were fighting over "The Wanted" member Max George. Sources added that George went to the nightclub with Lindsay but then ended up talking to another woman.

A spokesperson for the lounge confirmed that Lindsay Lohan was indeed there on Thursday. Other onlookers said that Lindsay was carried away to the police station in handcuffs.

To bring in more bad news, California prosecutors filed charges against Lohan over a car crash at the Pacific Coastal Highway last June. It was found out that the actress lied to the police by telling them she was a passenger of the car, when in fact, she is the driver.

So what's next for Lohan? Or is there any possibility to resurrect her dying career? Her "Liz and Dick" movie was a flop and she faces several charges once again. If she doesn't make a U-turn fast, her life and career has nowhere to go but down.
