Lindsay Lohan parties, just 18 days out of treatment
As they say old habits are hard to kick. This is apparently true in the case of Lindsay Lohan, who is allegedly back to her drunken ways. The Us Weekly posted an exclusive report that Lindsay Lohan is back to her old ways, the day after she taped her skit with Chelsea Handler for the MTV Music Video Awards.
Lohan was spotted at the New York City club Boom Boom Room early in the morning of September 11, 18 days after she got released from her treatment at the University of California-Los Angeles (UCLA) Neurophysciatric hospital. This comes as an unexpected twist in Lohan's comeback in the movie Machete where she starred opened strongly at the box office. Lohan had been gracing magazines left and right, even landing a cover for the Vanity Fair.
As a friend quoted by the Us Weekly remarks: "Everything that she went through seems not to have changed her a bit... It's sad."
The day before her alleged return to partying, Lohan taped a video wth Chelsea Handler, which was aired during the MTV Video Music Awards. In the video, Lohan is shown reprimanding Handler for drinking at work, telling Chelsea that nobody wants to work with a drunk.
But it was unclear from reports if Lindsay Lohan was drunk or was merely hanging out with her friends. Eighteen days of sobriety without institutional intervention is after all a start, if not a feat, for someone who is used to partying almost everyday.
Is Lindsay Lohan getting her career back, or is she getting back to her old ways? Lohan's camp is yet to comment on the matter.
