Troubled Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan is in talks with producers of Dancing With The Stars to compete in the dance show. Lohan has been earlier reported to be leading in the choices of competitors for the show's next season.

"Lindsay has been talking with the DWTS people," a source close to Lindsay Lohan told RadarOnline.com. "She is definitely interested and considering being on the show."

The Hollywood actress is currently in rehab, but according to the same source, Lohan's treatment team thinks that competing at the Dancing With the Stars would be "a perfect transition" for the actress.

"She would have a set schedule everyday, would be occupied and would be very productive. Lindsay wanted their approval before proceeding in talks with the producers and she got it," said the source.

Lindsay Lohan has an open schedule after she was booted out of an upcoming Linda Lovelace biopic Inferno, with Malin Akerman stepping into her role. Aside from her availability, producers of the show has been previously reported as saying that Lohan can dance.

Aside from Lohan, Todd Palin, Meghan McCain and Elliot Spitzer are also set to join Dancing With the Stars. Last season saw Jennifer Grey emerge as the winner. Who will it be next season? Viewers of the show have to find that one out for themselves.
