The Parent Trap star Lindsay Lohan has again expressed her wishes that her dad, Michael Lohan, leave her life alone and stop talking about her.

Often vocal about her ‘strained’ relationship with her father, RadarOnline noted that this is the first time that the Mean Girls star ‘has officially lashed out’ on his father and his unwelcome intrusion on her life since the actress has left rehabilitation this year.

"I am sorry that my father has continually chosen to speak publicly about our relationship, my mother, my siblings, and my professional team," Lindsay Lohan told RadarOnline in a statement.

It seems like Michael has not done anything right for her daughter, especially very recently.

One is a call he made to “Late Show with David Letterman” booking her daughter without letting her team know of the plan. Though Michael had maintained that Lindsay has approved of the TV appearance, her professional team had cancelled the already-promoted scheduled interview with Letterman.

The Letterman fiasco however is nothing compared to the reality show called, “Celebrity Rehab” that Michael Lohan has reportedly agreed to participate into. His involvement on the show, said RadarOnline.com has pissed off Lindsay knowing that her father would talk about her.

Lindsay Lohan said in a statement, "I am working through my recovery day-by-day and find his public media bouts unnecessary and damaging."

An unidentified source has also told RadarOnline.com that Michael’s name had propped up while she still undergoing the court-ordered rehabilitation program at the Betty Ford Clinic.

"His name came up constantly. Lindsay has a lot of unresolved feelings and anger towards Michael,” the unnamed source was quoted as saying by the RadarOnline.

Michael’s relationship with Lohan is expected to get worse if he pursues plans to join “Celebrity Rehab”.
