Lindsay Lohan's Father Michael Arrest for the Second Time
Actress Lindsay Lohan's father, Michael Lohan, 51, was arrested on Thursday for the second time this week. Authorities said that Michael was charged of domestic violence to his girlfriend Kate Major, 28.
She reported that Michael grabbed and pushed her and uttered threats saying that she will be thrown off the fourth floor balcony in her Tampa apartment.
Lohan denies Major's accusations of him hurting her and was released at a bail of $5,000. Judge provided a restraining order requesting Lohan not to have any further contact with Major.
Based on police statement, a call was received at the police office early Thursday by Major reporting about Lohan's harassment through telephone calls. Police went to Major's apartment and checked on the issue.
As police officers were investigating, Lohan called as Major immediately put the call on speaker phone for them to confirm positive.
After consultation with the state attorney's office, police proceeded to Tampa motel where Lohan was giving him an arrest for violating his terms of release. In an attempt to avoid his arrest, Lohan jumped off the third story of the balcony but his pursuit of escape did not do trick as he was taken into custody after a short commotion. As stated by Tampa Police Lt. S.J. Lee, the arrest happened without the occurrence of any incident.
As for Lohan's complaint of an injured foot due to his falling, he was taken to a nearby hospital in Tampa for a quick check and was returned back to jail after.
Upon leaving the police station, Lohan gave his statement to a local television, saying that he was called by Major because of an eviction issue from her apartment.
He also quoted "She keeps doing this. She needs help, she calls me and I'm a sucker. I call back and I'm an idiot"..
