Lindsay Lohan’s Probation Revoked
It was a familiar sight as actress Lindsay Lohan was spotted once again arriving at a Los Angeles courthouse Wednesday morning.
The "Georgia Rule" actress turned up to share her accomplishments thus far meeting the terms of her probation agreement. Throwing the book at Lohan once again, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner revoked her probation, citing continuous violations, and sent her back to jail with $100,000 bail.
If bailed out, Lindsay must complete a minimum of 16 hours at the morgue before her Nov. 2 court date, which could ultimately determine if the star will return to prison for an extended period of time. Adding to Lohan's legal woes is a million-dollar lawsuit just served on her for allegedly attacking Betty Ford Center staffer Dawn Holland during her time at the rehab center last year.
According to TMZ, Holland claims she incurred "great mental, physical and nervous pain and suffering" from the alleged incident.
Lohan was charged with stealing a $2,500 necklace last January and some insiders believe she could be in for more trouble for failing to meet court ordered requirements. According to a TMZ insider, Lohan has recently claimed that she could not afford her weekly psychologist sessions and she has barely touched her 360 hours of community service at a Downtown Women's Center after she was mistreated by the staff.
"The staff was really mean to her from the second she arrived. She did everything she was asked to do while performing her court-ordered community service at the L.A. center over the past few months and never showed up late," the insider said.
For the record, staffers say Lohan hardly ever showed up and when she did it was never for the required 4-hour period. After being reassigned to work at the American Red Cross, the actress has only completed 21 of 339 hours and the rest of those hours must be completed by May 2012.
When Lohan last met with Sautner in May, she was warned that failure to meet court orders could place her behind bars. The result of Lohan's probation hearing shows how dead serious the judge is, and another mistake will definitely jeopardize Lohan's freedom.
