Lindsay Lohan’s parents won’t be appearing in her reality show. Michael and Dina Lohan are reportedly not welcome to join their recovering addict daughter in her upcoming reality show, which is produced by Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN).

Lindsay reportedly got a big deal with the media mogul after leaving a rehabilitation clinic in August in the tune of $2 million. She was said to have signed an eight-part documentary series with Oprah, which would focus on getting her life on track after her drug troubles.

And if her parents thought that they would be sharing screen time with their daughter, they should think again.

Production sources told TMZ that Lindsay’s parents, whom the media call her enablers and the reason for her problems, will not film a single scene for the series.

Producers decided not to include the whole “Lohan family circus” in the show, and just stick to its original focus: Lindsay’s “comeback and recovery Producers decided not to include the whole “Lohan family circus” in the show, and just stick to its original focus: Lindsay’s “comeback and recovery.”

They would not even mention her mum Dina’s recent driving while intoxicated (DWI) charge in the show.

As per the gossip Web site, Lindsay almost lost her deal with Oprah after being her difficult self at the beginning of the project. She already has a reputation of being late and sometimes not showing up at work, and her nth rehab stay didn’t prove to change that habit at all.

Apparently, she still didn’t show up at times when the production on her show started, which prompted Oprah herself to confront Lindsay on her work etiquette.

The TV icon gave the starlet an ultimatum: either she clean up her act or lose her show. Lindsay wisely chose to improve her behaviour, according to TMZ.

Her docu-series is set to air on Oprah’s OWN cable network in 2014.
