Lindsey Vonn: Olympic gold medalist enjoying single life since breakup with Tiger Woods
For Lindsey Vonn, watching Tiger Woods walk out of her life means she would have more time for herself. Instead of being bitter or cynical about love, the Olympic champion skier is making the most of her time being single. Vonn is spending time alone doing the things she loves and simply enjoying the newfound freedom that being single gives her.
In an interview with Health.com, Vonn was asked about what she has been doing after her breakup with Woods because she looked so much better than before and she was more than happy to reveal how she has been doing since splitting with the professional golfer. Instead of moping around, Vonn said she just focuses on her sport as well as the things that make her happy.
“You really look at yourself and figure out what makes you happy, and you also have a lot more free time,” Vonn said. “I’m focusing on my job, my skiing, and I’ve been working really hard.”
Vonn added that she hired a new nutritionist in her team to help her get in top shape for this season. The 31-year-old also dismissed the rumour that she is seeing another guy and said she just tries to shrug off the stories about her that appear on tabloids because otherwise she would have driven herself “crazy.”
CNN reported that Vonn, who was plagued with a string of injuries in the past months, is back in the slopes after suffering a minor injury. It is said that Vonn was trying to break up a fight between her dogs, Leo and Bear, when she hurt her thumb, which required hospital treatment. Vonn will reportedly compete at an event in Aspen on Nov. 28.
