Linkin Park brings their A Thousand Suns world tour to Australia in December in a five-city engagement. The Australian leg of the Linkin Park world tour will include performances at Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide.

Linkin Park returns to the stage with their fourth album, A Thousand Suns. The album was released earlier this month. Chester Bennington described the album as having "almost tribal-yet-psychedelic vibe to the beats and the textures of the music."

The last time that Linkin Park was in Australia was in 2007, when their lead singer Chester Bennington broke his risk in their Melbourne concert. Since forming in 1996, Linkin Park rose to world prominence with hits such as In The End and What I've Done, which is part of the soundtrack for the 2007 Transformers.

Concert tickets for Linkin Park's performance in Australia will go on sale on September 24, with pre-sale tickets available on September 21.
