Two of the greatest athletes of our generation starred in the new commercial advertisement for Turkish Airlines.

In the new commercial, Barca superstar Lionel Messi and basketball icon Kobe Bryant take selfie shots amongst great destinations in the world that the airline company flies to, such as Moscow, Beijing, Maldives, Cape Town, Los Angeles, and Istanbul, to name a few.

The new commercial of the two athletes have gone viral on YouTube instantly. It has over 76 million views so far.

The two has already appeared in a commercial for Turkish Airlines where the duo tries to win the attention of a young boy. It was first aired around this time in 2012. It has over 106 million hits now but it looks like it won't be long before their new commercial ad outshines the previous one.

Messi became a global brand ambassador of the Turkish Airlines in 2012. Bryant, on the other hand, signed a contract with the said airline company in 2010.

Turkish Airlines has been selected as the official carrier by Europe's leading football clubs like Olympique de Marseille, Aston Villa, and Borrusia Dortmund. Aside from Messi and Bryant, some of the entertainment celebrities and sports personalities that have appeared in the endorsement deals of the airline company include Caroline Wozniacki, Wayne Rooney, and Kevin Costner.

Messi is currently unable to play because of his thigh injury. He is a leading contender for the 2013 Ballon D'Or Award, which is due to be announced in January 13, 2014 at Zurich.

Bryant, on the other hand, has just made his comeback and debut in the 2013-2014 NBA season for the Los Angeles Lakers game against the Toronto Raptors on Sunday evening, to which the Lakers lost 106-94.
