Samsung Mobile has chosen again Lionel Messi for its new ad for Samsung Galaxy 11. Messi has already starred in a previous Samsung commercial with adorable kids singing Lorde's Royals.

For this time around, Messi will be chased by black cars. He will be wearing a hooded jacket, and initially kicking the soccer ball through the streets with his outstanding skills and footwork, then suddenly black cars will start running after him. Messi flees and attempts to steer away from the perpetuators. Motorcycle riders followed him in a narrow alley. Then, he will take a detour through a Chinese restaurant and will stopp at a corner. Well, so much for the narrative, just check out the video below.

It says "Football will save the planet" in the end of the advertisement. We can only guess that there will further be more stories to come for Messi.

It looks like the aliens have challenged the Earth on an ultimate football game, and Messi has been chosen as the captain. Living legend German Player Franz Beckenbauer will make a cameo in the ad. He is the one who will hand Messi the arm band. It has been reported that more football players are going to appear in the advertising campaign in the coming weeks, and the Earth's football team, with Messi as its captain, will be using Samsung gadgets such as Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy Note 10.1 and Galaxy Gear to aid them with their mission.

It is a good thing that the commercial has already been filmed before Messi's injury struck over the weekend.

Samsung is only one of Messi's big sponsorship deals. In September 2012, he was chosen as the brand ambassador of Turkish Airlines globally. He filmed a commercial for the airlines with NBA superstar Kobe Bryant. In July 2013, he has also appeared in an advertisement of WeChat, a messaging application.
