Liverpool FC Transfer News: Agent of Reds Striker in Talks with Real Madrid for £90million Summer Move

Pere Guardiola, the agent of Liverpool striker Luis Suarez, is reportedly in talks with Real Madrid involving the latter's possible £90million move this summer.

According to Spanish news agency El Confidencial, the Uruguay international has been offered twice to the Bernabeau outfit in the past, but nothing has materialised as the Los Blancos hierarchy were still studying the viability of coexistence with current hitman Karim Benzema.

Benzema and former Real teammate Gonzalo Higuain failed to perform to their optimum when they were competing for the number-one spot upfront, and Madrid president Florentino Perez wants to make sure that it will not happen again.

Meanwhile, the 27-year-old Suarez, who is unquestionably in his prime, could arguably be one of the hottest, if not the hottest, prospect in Europe, which makes the rumoured transfer all the more possible because the La Liga giants are known for snatching, expectedly or otherwise, the biggest names every summer.

The Former Ajax man already has 30 Premier League goals in 30 appearances to his name this season, while also showing that he can pair up with other goalscorers, tallying an impressive statistic of 21 assists.
