FC Barcelona will be offering striker Alexis Sanchez and £80million to lure Liverpool to sell their prized hitman Luis Suarez.

Suarez, who has rose to infamy yet again after biting Italy's Giorgio Chiellini during their final fixture of the group stages, just came off an impressive Premier League season, winning the Player of the Year award, while helping the Reds re-book a place in the Champions League after a three-term hiatus.

He is now facing a four-month ban as a consequence of his act, but Barca remain to be unfazed by the said fact.

Meanwhile, the Chilean Sanchez, who tallied 21 goals and 17 assists in all competitions for the Blaugrana, has been linked with a move to Anfield as his future is still uncertain at the Nou Camp after Luis Enrique replaced Tata Martino as manager.

At the end of the day, the right price might persuade Liverpool's American owners to part ways with their investment, who is in danger of missing nine matches in the domestic league, which could put their campaign in jeopardy should they choose to stick with him.
