Elizabeth Taylor’s ex-husband, Larry Fortensky is facing eviction from his California home following his failure to secure financial help from legendary actress wife.

Fortensky, popularly known as Taylor’s eight husband is a construction worker the actress met while the two were both undergoing treatment at the Betty Ford Center.

The late actress married Fortensky in 1991 at her friend, singer Michael Jackson’s Ranch and their nuptial is considered one among the top ten most expensive wedding among celebrities.

The Associated Press said in a report that it was Fortensky who happened to accompany the movie icon when she was fighting a severe pneumonia in April 1990 and their relationship blossomed to a wedding estimated then at $2 million. She was 20 years older than Fortensky who was 39 at the time of their wedding.

The two announced a trial separation in August 1995 until Taylor filed for divorce in February 1996.

Fortensky had reportedly used the money received from divorce settlement to buy himself a place but according to Aceshowbiz, Liz’s construction worker ex-husband failed to keep up with the mortgage at $ 5,800 a month.

Citing a report by the National Enquirer, the Aceshowbiz said that this is not the first time Fortensky appealed for financial help from the legendary actress.

This is the second time that Fortensky had asked for financial support from Taylor to save his California home.

The U.S. tabloid said in a report that in 2009 had also asked for help for the same reason and Taylor had reportedly helped him to keep his house with $50,000 financial support.

The tabloid noted that Taylor could not help him this year since the actress has been in and out of treatment until she succumbed to death at a Los Angeles hospital.
