A Beverly Hills judge on Tuesday released a warrant of arrest for Lindsay Lohan after the alcohol monitioring bracelet that she wore was triggered.

Judge Marsha Revel issued the warrant following an order for Lohan's lawyer and a prosecutor to attend an emergency hearing at the Beverly Hills Supreme Court.

Reports say an alarm went off on Lohan's Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor (SCRAM) device when she went to a party after the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday.

On Tuesday, Lohan furiously denied the reports via Twitter.

"My SCRAM wasn't set off .. All of these false reports are absolutely wrong," she tweeted.

"This is all because of a FALSE accusation by tabloids & paparazzi," she added, saying that the reports were "disgusting".

The "Mean Girls" star was ordered to wear the bracelet at a hearing on May 24 following her failure to appear on an earlier court date. The bracelet's purpose is to detect alcohol use through the wearer's sweat.

Lohan was apprehended three years ago for driving under the influence. Two months after her release from rehab, she was arrested for drunk driving and cocaine possession but was only detained for a mere 84 minutes. She also served 10 hours of community service.
