"Twihard" fans went crazy when Robert Pattinson made an appearance at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival over the weekend looking super stylish and sexy. The 28-year-old star looked drop dead gorgeous when he walked the red carpet of Cannes wearing a cool green jacket and black denims. The "Twilight" star looked handsome in his new style as he came to attend the premiere of his upcoming movie "The Rover" at Cannes. What's more, RPatz even had a super chic new haircut which suited him a lot. Check out his latest pictures in the slideshow above.

Robert wore a stylish black t-shirt below his mint-green jacket and cut a style statement by wearing black sunglasses. Fans, especially girls, were seen surrounding the actor in huge numbers for pictures and autograph and Robert was cool enough to oblige them politely.

"The Rover" is one of the most looked forward films of 2014 which is based on the story of a guy who follows a gang of car thieves who happened to steal his car from an Australian town. The movie will also be shown at the Sydney Film Festival on June 7 and will see a world wide release only on Aug 22, 2014.

"It's very existential. It's really interesting. I couldn't really explain to you what it's about but it's sort of about how much pain can the world take and how much disgust and cruelty before love dies," Robert told blogs.indiewire.com in a previous interview. The movie is directed by David Michod and also stars Australian actor Guy Pierce.

The opinion about Robert Pattinson's new look is quite divided. According to mirror.co.uk, RPatz looks like a "dude" and looked "ridiculously cool." The Daily Mail is of the opinion that Robert Pattinson "cuts a cool figure in smart green jacket."

However, various media outlets are also not happy with Robert Pattinson's new look and feel he looks like "a 37-year-old dad who's desperate to look dapper and cool," metro.co.uk is reporting. "We're sad. Come on Rob give us something to stare at when we're bored at work please...," the Web site reported.
