Right before the year 2011 has come to its ends, it was Russell Brand who made an announcement that he is divorcing Katy Perry after having been together for more than a year of marriage.

It took months for the British writer and comedian along with his ex-wife denying rumours of their already troubled marriage and they remained quiet about it; until it was discovered via the Los Angeles court where the divorce was filed that it was for reason for 'irreconcilable differences.'

It can be recalled that this celebrity pair that is considered to be of the A-list couples in the industry got married last October of 2010 in India. But due to their very busy careers which kept them apart for a considerable long time, their alleged marital problems have always been in the tabloid.
