Lorde is headlining the line-up for St Jerome’s Laneway Festival in Auckland in 2014. New Zealand’s rising international star has been announced to join the eight-city boutique festival in the country on Jan 27, 2014.

Lorde hasn’t hit big yet when she signed up for the festival earlier in 2013. But as it happened, she’s currently the biggest Kiwi music star to hit the international scene, and promoter Ben Howe couldn’t be happier with the development.

“We knew [Lorde] would be successful, but I don’t think anyone knew she would be pretty much the hottest act in the world right now, so it’s a combination of foresight and good luck,” he was quoted by TVNZ as saying.

The 16-year-old “Royals” hitmaker will be joined at the venue, Silo Park, by the rest of the acts in the huge ensemble, including CHVRCHES, The Jezabels, Danny Brown, Doprah, and Rackets.

Here’s the full list of acts for the Auckland venue:

Meanwhile, Lorde has bumped Miley Cyrus’ ballad “Wrecking Ball” from the top of the iTunes Chart in the U.S. The teenage singer, whose real name is Ella Yelich-O’Connor, has revealed that the downside of topping the chart is that some people who were rooting for Miley have given her death threats.

“wo #1 on US itunes. even if it lasts an hour i feel HAPPY. downside is all these miley fans telling me they’re gonna stab my rotting corpse,” Lorde twitter.on Friday.
