Lorde loved her “South Park” character so much that she even sang a brief cover of the show’s parody song. While other celebrities lose their cool when they are featured in the U.S. adult animated sitcom, the “Tennis Court” songstress is enjoying it.

“South Park” recently “exposed” the real identity of the 17-year-old Kiwi star in its episode. Apparently, Lorde is actually a 45-year-old moustached man, Randy Marsh, the father of one of the protagonists Stan.

Lorde, the real one, loved that she was parodied in the show. She admitted that she doesn’t watch the show, but found the episode hilarious.

i don't actually watch south park but from what i can tell sia was involved and someone's mum said something really nice about me.. score!

She even liked the transgender theme of the episode. She posted a series of videos on Instagram about the show’s ending, saying that the message of the episode was “downright sweet.”

“this is actually surprisingly cute – and from what i can tell also has a message of transgender acceptance (i’m still very new with this type of humour so i’m not sure if was actually genuine but it seemed so to me),” she wrote.

In an interview with TV3 in New Zealand, Lorde showcased her sportsmanship once more when she sang the parody song in the episode.

“I was thinking, ‘Yeah he has a moustache… I mean I have a moustache, but is it that prominent?’ But it was someone’s dad pretending to be me,” she said of the “really funny” episode. “We actually, in my hotel room, went ‘Ya ya ya ya ya I’m Lorde! Ya ya ya!’ for like an hour, because that’s what they do on the episode.”

Lorde is nominated for four American Music Awards gongs, namely, Artist of the Year, Favourite Female Artist, Favourite Album and Favourite Artist – Alternative Rock. The AMAs will be held on November 23 in Los Angeles.
