The 17-year-old tweeted the name of the title of her single and it is called "Yellow Flicker Beat." The cover art of the single shows a dark brownish-black bookish background with Lorde's name written on it in dull golden words. Check out the picture here. The singer did not reveal how the tune would sound like. Her fans would have to wait for one more week to hear the song.
However, it is not the first time that Lorde has revealed anything about her single in the movie. In the first week of September, Lorde revealed one line from lyrics from the "Yellow Flicker Beat" song and it was as follows. "I am a princess cut from a marble, smoother than a storm," wrote Lorde on her Instagram account when she revealed the lyrics of the title track.
The "Royals" singer has reportedly been tasked to "handpick" the soundtrack of the upcoming movie. Lorde has promised her fans in her recent interview that her choice of soundtrack for the movie will "surprise" people.
"I sat down with Lorde on the set of Mockingjay this spring and I was immediately struck by how she so innately understood what we, as both fans and filmmakers, were trying to accomplish with the film," revealed Francis Lawrence, director of "The Hunger Games Mocking Jay Part One" to BBC News.
"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part One" is slated to hit theaters on November 21. The movie will be the third installment of the "The Hunger Games" franchise and it stars Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson and Woody Harrelson.
Meanwhile, the fans of Lorde will have to wait a bit longer for the movie's soundtrack that will be released on Republic Records on September 30. Lorde's track will be available for download on September 29, the singer revealed on Twitter.
