The Los Angeles Clippers have reportedly signed Byron Mullens to a two-year deal, a source close to situation reported on Sunday.

The Clippers, who already signed Daren Collison and acquired Jared Dudley and JJ Reddick via trade, loaded up their frontline by acquiring the 7-foot Mullens.

Clippers head coach Doc Rivers has been looking for a power forward with the ability to knock down jumpers beyond the three-point line, and he believes Mullens fits the role after the former Charlotte Bobcats delivered 25 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists in a game against his former team, the Boston Celtics in February.

According to sources, Mullens will pocket $2 million with a player's option in the second year of the contract.

After three seasons with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Mullens finally found his break after he was traded to the Bobcats where he averaged career-high 10.6 points and 6.4 rebounds in their last season. He also shot 31.7 per cent from the three-point line during the 2012-2013 season.
