Los Angeles Clippers Pull Off Come From Behind Win in Game 4, Tie Series with Oklahoma City Thunder

The Los Angeles Clippers were behind by as much as 22 points against the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals in the NBA Playoffs. Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and unlikely hero Darren Collison never gave up and completed a wild comeback at the Staples Center in Los Angeles pulling off a 101-99 victory.

The Thunder led 29-7 with three minutes to go in the first quarter; 57-46 at halftime; 75-63 at the end of the third quarter; 90-83 with 4 minutes to go in the game. And each time the Clippers rallied to cut the lead and force a close game. They finally tied it with 1:50 left on a Griffin and-1 and took the lead, 97-95 for the first time in the game at the 1:23 mark courtesy of a NBA Sixth Man of the Year awardee Jamal Crawford.

And unlike OKC, L.A. protected the lead to tie the best-of-seven series at two apiece. Game 5 is on Tuesday when the series returns to Oklahoma City.

Chris Paul had 23 points and 10 assists and defended the taller Durant during key moments. Griffin, plagued in foul trouble late, added 25 points and 9 rebounds. The player who surprised everyone was Collison, who had 18 points, eight of which came inside the final 4:28 of the game.
