Cats and kittens have been "speaking up" on Facebook, thanks to funnymama.com and other meme-focused websites spreading some cat lovin' on the web.

Whether cat owners or not, people have heard stories of how a cat typically behaves: cold, defiant, snooty. Yet in spite of their stuck-up "attitude," these felines can be so adorable.

There is one photo of a cat which appears to be sliding a $20 bill across a kitchen counter. The caption says, "You want cuddles on demand? Here's $20, buy a dog." Now that is just a tad too frosty. Then again that's a cat's cold shoulder for you.

Those who put up their cat photos on the internet are usually creative. They highlight typical cat behaviors and even use pun to build up humour in the images. Consider cute kitties saying "fleeeez." Sweet!
