'Love': Kelly Clarkson's Never Been There [PHOTOS]
With multiple Grammy awards, hit record albums and top charting songs, it comes as a surprise to hear that the talented singer and songwriter Kelly Clarkson has never been in love.
Ten years in the spotlight, her career has been the main focus while her love life stayed hidden from the prying eyes of critics.
With shows scheduled in different continents every week, it's no question why the powerhouse vocalist still hasn't met a guy she'd fall in love with. The superstar singer's career has definitely gotten in the way to try finding a potential love interest.
"I won't be able to see him even if I do meet a great guy," says the singer in an interview at USA Today. "Skype can do only so much."
"I have this side of me that's shut off which is probably why I've never experienced certain things," says the 29-year-old singer. "I haven't found anybody yet who I can say: You're worth breaking down that wall for."
All hope is not lost for her fans that really wish for the singer to tie the knot. Kelly Clarkson did say that she does wish to marry one day. In a newspaper interview, Clarkson stated she'd love to settle down in her late 30's.
But right now, the multi-Grammy award powerhouse vocalist is currently promoting her new album release - "Stronger". With the hit single taken from the album, "Mr. Know It All," Kelly Clarkson once again blows us with her "strong" vocals.
Released Monday via RCA Records and Sony Music, "Stronger" is Clarkson's fifth album. The inspiration behind the album title was taken from Nietzsche: "That which does not kill us makes us stronger".
"The reason I came up with 'Stronger' was because every song was about empowerment and overcoming stuff," states the singer. "After 10 years of being in this industry, you feel like a stronger person and it makes people know you better," says Clarkson in an interview by MTV.
Romance won't be an issue for the powerhouse singer. Right now she's focused on her jet set career and making a "Stronger" impact in the music industry.
