'Lucifer' season 4 filming begins
Filming for “Lucifer’ season 4 has finally begun. The cast members of the TV series have released a video from the set on the first day of the filming, and they are giving full credit to the fans for saving the show.
The whole gang is back! Tom Ellis (Lucifer Morningstar), Lauren German (Chloe Decker), Kevin Alejandro (Dan Espinoza), Aimee Garcia (Ella Lopez), Lesley-Ann Brandt (Mazikeen) and Rachael Harris (Linda Martin) appeared in a video that has been released on Twitter. The cast members made it a point to recognise that the show got renewed thanks to the fans.
The future of the TV series was in doubt after Fox cancelled it. After the fans launched a “Save Lucifer” campaign, Netflix swooped in at the last minute and closed the deal to take the show. Brandt joked about being angry with the studio executive who cancelled the show.
It is interesting to note that Brandt recorded her message separately. Also, D.B. Woodside (Amenadiel) and Tricia Helfer (Charlotte) are missing on the first day of the shoot. This suggests that the premiere episode will be about Chloe finding out the truth about Morningstar and dealing with it.
The title of the first episode has already been revealed to be “Everything’s Okay,” which is again a nod to the fans to say that everything is alright now that the show is saved, and it also hints that everything is okay after Chloe found out about the Devil.
With the focus on the Devil’s relationship with the detective taking up all the space in the first episode, or the first few episodes, the fans may have to wait to find out what happens with Amenadiel and Charlotte.
The last time fans saw Amenadiel, he got his wings back and he took Charlotte to Heaven. It remains to be seen if got to enter the gates, or if he will be forced to fly down.
