Lupita Nyong'o of 12 Years A Slave Wears A Sunny Dress For Magazine Cover -- And Pulls It Off
Lupita Nyong'o does a 'colorful' photo shoot for a magazine cover, and she rocks the sunny yellow dress like all the colorful dresses she has worn on the red carpet recently.
The "12 Years a Slave" actress is the latest cover girl of Dazed and Confused magazine, and for her cover shoot, she wears a bejeweled canary yellow dress and blue coat by Miu Miu. She wears blue and green on her peepers as she poses in front of an equally colorful background.
The result? Lupita stood out in the crowd of colors she is in. And the same shows in her other color-filled photos for the magazine, shot by Shariff Hamza and styled by Robbie Spencer.
In the magazine, Lupita sits down with the Dazed staff about the making of the historical film directed by Steve McQueen, where she plays the role of female slave Patsey.
Just last Sunday, Lupita wowed the fashion spectators when she rocked the red caped dress by Ralph Lauren, despite being recently named as the newest face of Miu Miu. Her red carpet look landed her in the best-dressed list of various fashion critics.
Besides the Golden Globes, fashion websites has been observing the Mexican-Kenyan actress's impeccable red carpet style, courtesy of stylist Micaela Erlanger, which mostly consists of brightly-colored frocks which complements her skin tone.
Despite the recognition, however, Lupita remains humble as for her being an It girl.
"Right now the fashion world is a very new thing for me. I'm really enjoying discovering the players, the game players and everything. So right now I'm just enjoying dressing up on a daily basis," Lupita tells E! Online.
The magazine's Feb issue is dubbed as "Girls Rule the World" issue, and features Lupita, Kate Moss's little sister Lottie, teenage fashion blogger Tavi Gevinson, Sophie Kennedy Clark, Stacy Martin, among others.
