Apple has just released its latest line of MacBook Pros and one of the highlights for this is the inclusion of Retina display as its main feature. The inclusion of Retina display means that the image for the MacBook Pro would be sharper and clearer. Despite that assurance, Apple's MacBook Pro with Retina display is now being plagued with issues and problems.

The Retina display is one of the highlights of the new MacBook Pro 2012 and it is ironic that the issues about MacBook Pro are all about the its display and image. Here are some of the problems and issues of users when it comes to their MacBook Pro 2012 with Retina display:

Image Persistence Problem

There are messages posted in the Apple support communities stating that the MacBook Pro with Retina display has image persistence problems. It is described wherein an image still remains on the screen for a couple of minutes when it should have faded away. The image is evident during light backgrounds and would take about 5 minutes before it completely disappears.

"Ghosting" Issue

The "ghosting" issue pertains to an image that or background that is left when a user already closes the window. The desktop seems to have a "ghost image" of the text or graphic that was previously opened. This type of image typically last for at least 20 minutes.

Apple's Response

Apple has not directly responded regarding this issue but users that are affected by these problems already formed their own speculation about this. Some customers are stating that this could just be a bad batch problem since these complaints are not that widespread. Regardless of that, affected customers could take advantage of Apple's 14-day "no questions asked" return policy so that they could replace their 2012 MacBook Pro with Retina display.
