Mad Men graces the cover of Rolling Stone.

Jon Hamm is shown sitting on the floor of what look likes a limousine surrounded by Man Men ladies Elisabeth Moss, Christina Hendricks, and January Jones.

In the series, Jon Hamm plays advertising boss Don Draper while Elisabeth Moss is Don Draper's former secretary Peggy. January Jones plays the ex-wife of Draper and mother of his three children Betty while Cristina Hendricks is Joan Harris who is the office manager at Sterling Cooper.

With Mad Men's ratings on the upswing (the latest season premiere had 2.9 million viewers), the four are becoming some of Hollywood's most recognisable faces on Television. In the just concluded award show, the show won its third consecutive Emmy for best drama.

So how does Jon Hamm finds his new found fame?

"I fly very low on the radar," Jon says as quoted by Just Jared. "Mark Twain said it: 'I'd rather say nothing and be thought an idiot than open my mouth and remove all doubt.'"

"Another Missouri boy, Mark Twain. The petulant, sh-ty movie-star mentality - that burns out pretty quick."

It seems that life is imitating art here as Hamm'c character Don Draper quips in Mad Men's premiere for this season:

"I'm from the Midwest. We were taught it's not polite to talk about yourself."

The Rolling Stone issue is available next Wesdnesday.
