During an AMA session on Reddit on Monday, Madonna teased about a project called "secretprojectrevolution." The project is in collaboration with BitTorrent and Vice Media - towards fostering freedom of speech across the world.

"secretprojectrevolution" is a short 17-minute film Madonna co-directed with Steven Klein. The film is slated to release on Sept. 24. The film will release side by side with the launch of "Art for Freedom" a digital initiative, which will promote people to submit, poetry, video, music and photography that relate to persecution across the globe.

"My goal is to show by the example of "secretprojectrevolution" my creative commitment to inspire change in the world through artistic expression," Madonna said.

"I hope my film and other submissions to Art for Freedom will be a call to action and give people a place to voice their own creative expression to help fight oppression, intolerance and complacency," the popstar added.

"This film operates on many levels. It examines our private prisons. It questions what we do, how we do it and how we treat others. It questions our governments and our collective thought patterns. Think about it -- the power of art can lead to peace," Klein said on the feature film.

The secret film will be released as a BitTorrent Bundle. The San Francisco based digital organisation, BitTorrent will release it on a new platform. The company has been fighting to clear the misconception of piracy and BitTorrent.

"We've spent the last two years working with artists and creators and came to the realization that there isn't one business model for digital content, but a different business model for every piece of digital content. Bundles allows publishers to bake the store directly into the content Bundle itself, meaning everywhere it is shared, fans will have an opportunity to connect directly back to the publisher," BitTorrent vice president of marketing Matt Mason said.

The publishers can install certain terms for unlocking the bundle. For example, fans who download the "secretprojectrevolution" bundle will get three HD film trailers and stills. When they provide their e-mail address, they will be able to unlock the bundle and get the film in multiple formats. It also has an interview with Madonna by Eddy Moretti, Cheif Creative Officer, Vice.

"Madonna is making a bold move, putting herself out there to support those suffering under repressive regimes around the world," Moretti said.

"Art for Freedom comes from a place of real empathy and emotion. It's a reflection of a world in crisis by an artist who has decided that apathy is not an option. In one discussion, Madonna told me that she wanted to start a 'revolution of love.' How can you argue with that?" he added, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
