Madonna’s Bizarre Diva Demands
"In Touch" magazine offers an insight into the mind of the 53-year-old singer, Madonna, who is still a material girl despite all her attempt to dabble in New Age faiths.
According to reports, Madonna has included in a list all sorts of extravagant conditions as she performs her MDNA tour. If those reports are believed to be actually true, then Madonna's diva demands are more outrageous and bizarre than her exhibitionism. Failure to meet her demands will result with a very unhappy Madonna.
For her MDNA tour, Madonna travels with a huge 200-person entourage, 30 bodyguards, a team of personal chefs, a yoga instructor, an acupuncturist and a dry cleaner. According to In Touch magazine, Madonna has very specific requirements to the way her hotel rooms and dressing rooms should be set up.
The singer expects her dressing room to have 20 international phone lines and it should be filled with flowers, particularly white and light-pink roses and lilies with stems cut exactly six inches in length. The singer also demands a special fabric for her room to be draped in. She wants all her hotel rooms to look and feel like her home.
"She requires all furniture be removed from the rooms and replaced with her own pieces that she has shipped in," a source told the magazine. Meanwhile, another source told "The Daily Star" newspaper that Madonna has probably the longest list of requirements of any of the world's music stars. "She expects things to be just right or it puts her off her stage show," the source shared.
The singer hit the headlines when she stunned fans by flashing her breast while performing on stage in Istanbul earlier this month. However, despite the critics slamming her for the attention-seeking move that she did, it seemed Madonna was not perturbed.
In fact, the singer pulled her pants down to reveal her thong, her fishnet tights and her bottom while on stage in Rome last week. Madonna is currently in Florence, Italy and she was seen on the balcony of her hotel with her boyfriend Brahim Zaibat and her daughter, Mercy. A spokesperson for the star was unavailable for comment regarding the diva reports.
