The photos were taken behind the scenes of her magazine cover for W magazine in their March 2009 issue.

More than 3 years after the shoot, unflawed pictures of the singer that took place in a hotel room in Brazil now only spread online. Then aged 50, the photos revealed the singer slumped on a couch in rather unladylike positions, wearing a see through bra and black thongs. One particular photo showed the singer facing a mirror topless while she tries on clothes for the magazine.

Three months after the said shoot, the magazine released a 46-page spread of the singer in a more touched up and flawless look.
