Lady Gaga's forthcoming Sydney Monster Ball show on June 13th has sparked the collaboration of major Australian radio and television stations for a multi-network concert extravaganza.

The superstar is set to perform in an exclusive 1,000-seating only event at the Sydney Town Hall on July 13, and the Australian media is gearing up for an all-out promotional collaboration. Leading the pack are Austereo, Channel Nine, MCM, Southern Cross Media, Channel [V], and Go!, with a shared effort to host and stream the exclusive performance. The Sydney Monster Ball will be held to promote the singer's latest album Born This Way, which sold more than 1 million copies on its first day of release.

The event will be broadcasted all across Australia through Channel Nine's Go! and will stream on radio airwaves via Today Network (2Day FM, B105, SAFM, 92.9 and FOX FM) and Southern Cross Media channels. Channel [V] Australia will also cover the event, as well as take40.com through an online showing. The event's major sponsor Vodafone will allow their subscribers to directly watch the entire show on their mobile phones. Vodafone subscribers can also experience this exclusive event by downloading the show through Planet 3 or Vodafone Central.

The Sydney Monster Ball is not only making 'little monsters' all over the country excited, but is setting the standard for a unified promotional approach. "The level of co-operation from all involved is a sign of the future in relation to creating scale and complete multi-channel campaigns with one common focus. By Australian standards, this is one of the biggest social plays of the year", says Grant Tothill, Austereo's Director of Entertainment Content Solutions in a report.

The highly-anticipated event has a catch: there are no tickets for sale. All those who wish to attend are advised to tune in to these networks to find out how to win tickets. Another way to score passes for The Sydney Monster Ball is to log into Facebook or www.gagamonsterhall.com.au and upload photos dressed as the singer.
