The "Dancing With The Stars" duo Maks Chmerkovskiy and Meryl Davis have been widely speculated to be dating. In his recent interview, Chmerkovskiy addressed this rumour. However, his response reportedly only hinted at the possibility that he may after all be "smitten" by Meryl.

In an interview with People magazine, Maks Chmerkovskiy was straightforward when he said, "We aren't dating and I don't think we will." However, according to Inquisitr, his next statement reportedly hinted that Meryl Davis could very well be his "other half."

"She is so soothing of a personality. For me to go 0 to 100, I take very long, but once you get me going it's impossible to stop. So, with Meryl, she totally balances me out," he said.

The site speculates Maks Chmerkovskiy is clearly "smitten" with his "Dancing With The Stars" partner. The way he reportedly described "how she makes him feel" is proof of that. Chmerkovskiy claimed he "cares very deeply" for Meryl Davis and that she is "very special." However, it's supposedly just friendship and will always be for many years, Maks Chmerkovskiy said.

Meanwhile, dating rumours are soon to spark once again, according to Inquisitr. The pair will reunite and return to the dance floor on December 17. People claimed Maks Chmerkovskiy and Meryl Davis will "reproduce a couple" of their routines at Maks' dance extravaganza, SWAY-A Dance Trilogy, in Westbury, New York. This reunion is sure to start the rumour mill churning again to which Maks Chmerkovskiy is apparently aware of.

Maks Chmerkovskiy claimed he is aware of the outcome of his reunion with the Olympic figure skater. In an interview with Wet Paint Entertainment, he said he knows about the rumours and even finds it "cute." He claimed Meryl Davis is a "big part" of his life now. However, his response about the status of his relationship with Meryl still points to them as just being friends. He described their friendship as very close since they would usually hang out to talk or chat.

Both Maks Chmerkovskiy and Meryl Davis reportedly denied they're dating. However, their responses still wouldn't stop the rumours that both are in a relationship.
