Despite of the reports that Peta Murgatryod wants to get back with ex -Maksim Chmerkovskiy, rumors are rife that Peta has developed a romantic connection with her dance partner James Maslow. What added even more fuel to the fire is the passionate kiss, which the two staged during their performance on Monday's, live "Dancing with the Stars" episode.

Fans of the rumored couple were delighted to see the two kissed, but it was nothing more than a choreographed move. During the rehearsals of the show the fans were already given a hint of the act when Maslow told Peta that,

"When I pull you in, I'm not pulling you in just to look at you We should probably actually, like, not full-blown make-out, but, like, actually have a kiss, " reported Daily Mail.

James and Peta met before DWTS through a common friend and they hit off really well when they partnered on the show.

"They really enjoy each other's company," the insider said to Hollywoodlife about their chemistry, adding, "It's not serious yet, but they won't be able to hide their chemistry when they dance!"

Though James and Peta did not win the show, they do have fond memories to take back. Peta took to Twitter on Tuesday morning and expressed her joy of being on the show.

"When I look back, I'm smiling from ear to ear. What an amazing season...full of laughs, joy & passion. Thank u for every dance @jamesmaslow.Sure we hoped to go all the way this season, but to be honest I feel like I've already won. The relationships you form on this show are so special. I believe life isn't about material things...I feel we already have the trophy, " she wrote.

Peta and James did share a passionate kiss onstage and they undoubtedly exude smoldering chemistry but the couple is still to confirm their rumored relationship.
