Soon after mysterious disappearance of Malaysia Airlines flight MH370, another tragedy occurred that will haunt people around the world forever. Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 believed to have been shot down in the Ukrainian skies on July 17, 2014 killing all 283 passengers and 15 crew members onboard. The incident has led to the rise of speculations. The biggest question that remains unanswered is who shot MH17 and why. According to the latest update, Russian TV channel is accusing the U.S.'s Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) of shooting the down flight MH17.

CNBC is reporting that one of the Russia's TV networks, Channel One is "telling its audience" that downing of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 was masterminded by the U.S.A.'s CIA. The channel reportedly "ran a package" for its audience just a day after the tragedy took place.

The document reportedly showed that "the U.S. planned to do the same thing during the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis." It was accompanied by "full-screen graphics."

Why would U.S.A do this? CNBC translates the script of the broadcast in Russian and reports that it was told that the U.S. planned this "because Ukrainian government is not sophisticated enough to orchestrate this."

The channel informed its audience that Russia's rapidly growing economy and "progress of the so-called BRIC nations"-Brazil, Russia, India and China-prompted the U.S. to take such a step and "damage Russia's economy."

However, based on data from International Monetary Fund, the report clarifies that Russia's economy is "smaller" than China and Brazil and "slightly larger" than India-contrary to how the documentary portrayed.

Meanwhile, Sydney Morning Herald reports that as per Russia, the flight records suggests that just before Malaysia Airlines flight crashed a Ukrainian fighter jet was "flying close" to it. At the same time, Russia claims that Kiev was "operating radar stations used for missile systems."

In a briefing, Lieutenant-General Andrei Kartopolov informed that Ukraine's fighter jet SU-25 was in flight close to Malaysia Airlines flight MH17. The fighter jet is reportedly "equipped with air-to-air missiles." Also, Russian authorities denied supplying "Buk missile systems" or any other type of weapons to the separatists in Ukraine. It is believed that Buk missile shot down the Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 that was travelling from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur.
