Things are going "hair"-ifficly well for One Direction member, Harry Styles despite the famed split with Taylor Swift. Swift's plan of bringing down Styles seems to be working the exact opposite. In fact, Styles has been garnering quite the attention and has even managed to win the title of Male Hair Icon of 2013.

The British boy band continues to gain a lot of fans and with two years in the business they show no signs of slowing down. If anything, the boys are still a popular topic in many households. The split between Harry Styles and Taylor Swift may be one other topic some fans widely discuss. Of course, thanks to the split Harry has become even more well-known.

Everything about Harry Styles has become so well-known that even his locks are famous among younger peer groups. The British cutie had nabbed the number one spot for Male Hair Icons of 2013. Ironically, Robert Pattinson's locks didn't even make it onto the list.

"Since One Direction first came on the scene Harry's do has become more and more popular. Younger men love the relaxed look and women find it incredibly cute. Men are increasingly fashion conscious and there are some really stylish male celebrities around at the moment to get inspired by," explained Francesca Davies.

The survey had asked over a thousand respondents to name their favorite hairstyle. While Harry Styles and David Beckham are not surprising results on the list, Justin Bieber shocked quite a few for making it to number three.
