Power couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt got engaged back in 2012, with a $250,000 engagement ring designed by Brad Pitt in collaboration with jeweller Robert Procop to boot.

They still need to officially tie the knot, but Angelina Jolie assures that marriage is still in their plans. For now, they are still enjoying their engagement, their time together making each other beautifully crazy, taking care of their six kids, and taking care of the world, since Angelina Jolie is a well known international human activist.

Angelina Jolie may be slated to play the titular wicked fairy in the Disney movie "Maleficent," she claimed that she never considered her life to be a fairytale until she met the right person and fell in love with Brad Pitt. Now that they have six children, adopted and biological, she admitted that her life can be magical if she looks at it that way. She said that she accepted early on that since she came from a broken home, there are some things she cannot have, like true love and happiness, so she never thought to look.

"Having come from a broken home you kind of accept that certain things feel like a fairy tale, and you don't look for them," says Jolie to Elle magazine in its June issue about fiancé Brad Pitt.

Now that she claimed someone like her can live a fairy tale, she also claims that she and Brad Pitt are good for each other. The award winning actress and long-time human-rights activist, 38, says that she and Pitt "drive each other beautifully crazy."

"You get together and you're two individuals and you feel inspired by each other, you challenge each other, you complement each other, drive each other beautifully crazy," says Jolie. "After all these years, we have history - and when you have history with somebody, you're friends in such a very real, deep way that there's such a comfort, and an ease, and a deep love that comes from having been through quite a lot together."

The two evidently love each other very much, so even though they are still on their road to their marriage they're bound to reach their destination one way or another.

In an interview with French newspaper Le Parisien, Angelina Jolie shares their plans to eventually head down the aisle.

"We're still engaged. We're still thinking about it. We plan to do it at some point."

Meanwhile, in the same June issue of Elle, Angelina Jolie states that she prefers none of her six kids go to film.

"Brad and I made the decision that we wouldn't keep them from sets and the fun of making movies, but we wouldn't [glorify it either] - we wouldn't make it a good thing or a bad thing," explains Angie to Elle.
